A song about lost innocence, missed opportunities, roads not taken (and taken). Inspired by regrets and remorse, it goes to some dark places, but with a beautiful sweet melody and harmonies, partly inspired by Peter Gabriel, The Beach Boys, Elbow, Coldplay, Jackson Browne and the Eagles. The great Mycle Wastman and David Nyro do backing vocals. Shimmering electric guitar by Jakael Tristram, who also engineered and co-produced. Heart's drummer, Ben Smith, is here, along with Garey Shelton, bass, and Roger Wood, down in the bunker, playing a Hammond B3 and wondering, along with us all, what happened.
